CLUE FIVE

At Erickson Park in Chippewa Falls,
Head quickly for the spot,
By springing over Eagle Creek,
Southward to the plot,
To duck between the moss and fern
And land the victor’s lot!

To pinpoint the Bonanza,
Hike over hill and dale
On the cliff side of the Duncan,
Where you’ll find the holy grail
Beneath a rock about halfway down
The new Bluff Rapids Trail!

CLUE FOUR

The time has come for a declaration—
Not another analogy;
There is no need to cross the waters
To the park of the menagerie,
So lock in your search along the creek
Near a moss-covered majesty.

Just locate a lake between the bluffs
For the place to launch your towage,
Then put in underneath the dam,
Downstream from the flowage,
And scan the shore on the eastern bank
To spot our stony stowage!

CLUE THREE

Come undone, soar over the creek,
Step lively to keep pace,
And ramble down the riverbank
To crack the coveted case;
A dweller near the ash tree meadow
Will guide you to the place!

CLUE TWO

A precipitous place that bears the name
Of a traveler back in time,
Whose staggering saga—a lucky tale—
Remains to this day sublime;
Head out of the clear and into the woods
To unriddle our riddley rhyme!

CLUE ONE

Scour the Chippewa Valley
In search of a secret site,
Exploring river, stream, and bluff,
Hunting day and night—
For a pair of passes to The Pines
To trip the fantastic light!
